Honestly, I had higher expectations for this place. I was expecting a unique cocktail at the choice of the bartender, something... of their creation that I couldn't get anywhere else. The drink I received was good, but it wasn't unique. I ended up getting aWhite Lady, which I could get at any other bar or restaurant. I will give a star to the atmosphere though. It was nice. The worker ignored us (my bf and I are Asian) and prioritized the other customers even tho they came later. They didn't even try... to talk to us even tho we were apparently waiting there right next to the other customers! Who would like to pay for a placethat discriminates against customers based on race or appearance? I don't want to leave these kinds of reviews, but it was justso rude. Worst service in Portland! The blonde server started out by telling us she was tired then proceeded to be completely indifferent... to the fact we were sitting in her section. She was too busy leaning on the counter talking to other staff to take our order,check if our drinks / food were okay, even our check - when I had to walk over and ask for it because she never returned to ourtable- had us waiting over 15 minutes while she stood around at bar chatting to staff. I even caught her testing my drink,because she had no idea what it was. Which wouldn't be so bad but she tried it twice using a straw that had already been in hermouth the first time! Really there are much better places on 28th, where the service, food, and cocktails are better, and alsodon't have mystery pricing. We won't be back! Read more
