Prices were cheap, service was excellent. Food is good, not amazing. I got 2 smoked drumsticks with fries and a beer. Fries were... really good. Chicken was OK, not great, not smokey. Its a dive bar that serves food late past Midnight! Read more
when i first walked in, i thought: "this is a mistake." talk about a dive! and a crowded, dingy one at that! so i got the... brisket/ribs combo (in case i didn't like one), collards and some kind of specialty corn dish. the food was FANTASTIC! bestribs i ever had. i ate all of it in one go. i AM glad i got takeout though, lol! Went in late after work to get some food to go. A limited menu, but got the pork sandwich with fries. It was very good, probably... better if you eat it there! Matt was a great bartender with a good attitude and smile! Read more
Still giving it a 4 overall even with criticisms of the food. Service was super fast. Worth the experience. Mostly a bar but... they have some alright BBQ. The fact that it seems that they have a split focus, between being a bar and being a barbecuerestaurant, really affects the consistent quality of the food. For example, some of the meats were quite dry, some wereperfect, fall-off-the-bone. The coleslaw was unique, and a pleasant surprise, because most coleslaws are fairly bland. Can'treally recommend anything other than the ribs for an entree, but I didn't try their burgers yet, so who knows. The barbecuesauces, along with the ranch, all appear to be made in-house. Read more
