The atmosphere of this spot is amazing. The feel of a locally loved and operated business is such a wonderful place to gather.... The only thing was we went for trivia and it was VERY busy and loud. This is my favorite spot to go and write. Cozy, low key vibes, community oriented space. And I love being surrounded by books.... It's quirky to be sure, but in a very charming way. It's also quiet enough to actually have a conversation which is somethingI've struggled to find in Portland's bustling cafe/bar scene. I always get the hummus plate as it's a perfect snack. The hummusis really good, tastes homemade. The book collection is eclectic and fun to peruse. The one thing I don't love is that thethree times I've been in, the radio is what's playing overhead, and the constant ads are pretty annoying when trying to read orwrite. Luckily it's not too loud and it doesn't stop me from going. Just something I hope they change at some point. Read more
