Their prices are great, happy hour or not. The atmosphere is great. The service is great. I know there are mixed reviews, but... this place is worth a visit for cheap sushi in an upscale area. I usually order to go and it is always super quick and readywhen I arrive (I live 4 minutes away). It's always fresh, even though the place is busy. I ordered a few California hand rollstonight and they are really great quality. It is on par with any other sushi I've gotten in the area. Read more

Update: I don't know why I keep going back it's always disappointing.I usually eat 20 to 30 dollars worth of sushi at these... train places, here I couldn't even manage 15 dollars for a coupon I had. Today I only ate a couple plates. I could tell somehave been sitting out like the sesame balls that looked like they where from last night, deflated indented like they werestacked on top of each other. The philly rolls had smoked salmon the consistency of beef jerky and when I asked not to pay forit since I only ate 1 of 4 pieces they tried to tell me that is how smoked salmon is supposed to be. They didn't charged me forthe plate and gave a discount that I wasn't expecting. I turned that discount into a tip since the workers were nice to me thistime. Original review : They will charge you more then what you eat. Had to change my review on this place. When they openedthe portions were big and cheap. Now they cheat you out of your money. I went in for happy hour like i do at least once a week,where all plates 1.85 except for green which are 1.35. I had two white plates and three yellows. My daughter had 4 green plates.I got the bill for 19.05 and noticed they caged the full price for whites and charged the yellows as whites. I pointed it outbut after several minutes of the woman not understanding and dealing with her broken English I just paid and left. Best sushi in Vancouver, excellent service, and friendly staff. My favorite sushi joint, great variety, and always fresh.

This sushi place used to be my favorite train place, but about a year or two ago the management changed and so did the food and... people. I thought I?d give this place another chance, but the last two times I visited I?ve gotten bones in my salmon. Even fora train place, this is not acceptable. Also the rolls are NOT rolls. They?re deformed and do not resemble sushi. And I don?tnormally write reviews, but this was just so disappointing. Read more
