Bagels were flavorful and chewy. It is more a personal preference thing but there was enough cream cheese on ours for 2-3... bagels. A little much. Also this isn't a quick stop 20-30 min to get our food upon arrival. Quicker service and friendly staffwould have improved this spot. Loved the metal music playing though. Read more
This place is amazing! Best corned beef sammy I've ever had and the cashier was extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommended.
I love kenny and zukes. Moved from Portland so I haven't been in a few years. Returned for business so dropped in for breakfast.... No table service this day, order at the counter. Simple menu, not like pre covid but included the must haves. Food was good,piping hot. I must say, the crew that closed up the day before left the place dirty. I was second one in and searched for aclean table. I felt bad for the guy who opened, as he's taking orders and cleaning up. Read more
I like Kenny and Zukes but it has changed since I went last which is a shame! Not really a delicatessen and brunch place... anymore. Minimal deli. Only a small menu you order at the counter and served on paper plates. Bagel and lox was good but not aton of lox. I loved that it came with veg and was open face and I loved the amount of capers! Didn?t love that the onions werepickled, threw off the perfect balance that is bagel and lox. Matzo ball soup was OK, matzo ball itself was good but soup wasn?tsuper flavorful. Regular breakfast sandwich on a bagel was bomb. Disappointing deli case: Only a brownie and a cookie in thecase. No hamantaschen, no kugel, very empty shelves compared to what it used to be. I think ordering bagels, schmear, and loxto-go for a party or something is the best way to go. Nothing special inside anymore.
