Love the pasta and lasagna with crispy garlic bread. Generous portion and consistent standard. My husband thinks it is the best... lasagna recipe by far. So we come here at least every month. Read more
Geraldi's Italian Eating Place has been right under my nose for decades. The store front does not begin to explain why you... should go there. I saw it on Google Maps. Went in. Amazing customer service. The staff are so proud to work there. The ownermust be doing all the right things to keep employees happy and dedicated. They are friendly and helpful. Wonderful to see somany items I would eat for the next visits. I just got back from Chicago and sure enough, I had to have the Italian beefsandwich. Wonderful. It is served on warm, light, crisp bread. Very juicy dunked meat. Very gooey cheesy.I love the meat tobread ratio. Have to run errands, then come back after that for their meatballs; sold ala carte. Super. Might have to reviewthose too. Bottom line....visit this wonderful hole in the wall. You will not be disappointed with staff or the food. This is my First time eating at Geraldi's in quite some time, since It's a bit of a commute for me now. I decided that it's been... too long and totally worth the trip for what I've always considered the best sandwich shop in town. They have a very extensivemenu of sandwiches both hot and cold, sides and if memory serves me correctly pizza as well. For me, my go to is the spicyGeraldi's and a side of potato salad, hits the spot every time. The service is always fast a courteous and the food is fresh anddelicious. If you haven't eaten there yet and are someone who loves a good fresh sandwich, do yourself a favor and try them outyou will be glad you did. Parking is a bit tricky there is a limited amount of seating but most of the time there are opentable. My suggestion would be to order ahead and do takeout. First time here after my sister highly recommended Geraldi?s and their Spicy Geraldi with the Giardiniera, and all I can say is... this is my new favorite sandwich shop? Delicious! I also tried the Turkey and the pasta salad and they were equally as good.Good bread, stacked with cold cuts, fresh quality ingredients, just the right amount Italian dressing and herbs which isexcellent.
