Waited close to an hour for food, and it unfortunately wasn't worth the wait. Place didn't seem very busy - maybe short staffed,... but waitress forgot our waters. Got fries with my southwest chicken wrap - some of which were cold. Chicken wrap was prettybland, probably won't be back. Read more
I used to hang at this pub in the 90s. I recently stopped by and I love the" unique gummy worm "mixed drink selection there... were so many delicious combinations to choose from and very fair prices. The staff were very friendly. Great clean atmospherebut the ladies bathroom is still too tiny. My friend loved the fish taco. Super crowed before an event...so only drinks were available. Service was slow but this could be explained by the volume. This... is truly a staple in Oakland and one of the last true college bars. It has been there for decades and for good reasons. Food isgenerally quality bar food and the prices on drinks are great. Read more
Such an awesome place. The staff is great (shout out to Hailey), and the drinks are awesome too. The prices for drinks aren?t... anything crazy which is nice, especially if you get a shot pitcher. The atmosphere is so great too. We love Hems! ?? Read more
