The place is great! The food is always very good and they have an excellent selection. I?m a soup lover; and ThaiFoon provides... me with lots of choices. And their tofu is fantastic in all of the soups ? I always ask for it not fried. The servers are alwaysprofessional, polite, knowledgeable of the menu, and always clean in appearance. In addition, the entire restaurant itself isalways clean. My one true test of cleanliness?. If the restrooms are not maintained and clean, the kitchen is not cleaneither. ThaiFoon deserves every star. Read more

2 stars is a bit generous. The spring rolls were greasy and the inside was still frozen. They replaced the first order with... the same condition rolls. Pad Thai was at least hot. Chicken was good, but the sauce the noodles were in was tangy. Kind oflike a tomato sauce. I tried to add some additional chili oil to make it better, but it didn't help. Unfortunately, not aplace I'd go back to. Read more

Today I stopped in for lunch after I got my hair done next door. Now as I was reading the reviews, apparently it?s under new... management. It?s my first time/experience there and I?ve always pass by it. So, might as well give it a try. Food was mediocre.Service wise could be better. My food took longer than it should be and it wasn?t busy unless they have lots of takeouts then Iunderstand. My server was nice and attentive at most but I think she?s new? Spilled a little on my table when serving and didn?thave a notepad on her when taking my order, so it made me concern when my entree didn?t come out sooner than expected. Also, shewas wearing AirPods which I think it?s a bit unprofessional. Overall, I would like to give this place another chance and trysomething else on the menu. Sometimes you gotta get the classics like Tom yum and pad Thai ??????????? Read more

My sister and I met my cousin in Pittsburgh after over a decade and the three families decided to go here for dinner! Getting... everyone aligned on going here took a bit of time and I called around 8 PM (they close at 9) to reserve a table for 12 at 8:30PM! To my surprise they agreed to give us a table. Our whole party was seated at 8:30 PM and ALEXIS waited our table. In spiteof the late reservation, she was sweet, friendly and patient with us. We made our best effort to efficiently place an order andthe food started flowing in quickly. Portion sizes were good and all the food we ordered was delicious!! The Indonesian FriedRice was the winner of that evening. Finally, Alexis took few pictures of the whole group and overall, it was a greatexperience. In spite of being a large party, making a reservation just before COB, on a Saturday night and, during the Jul 04weekend, there were several things that could've gone wrong but Alexis was amazing. She gave us a great experience and made theevening memorable for us in the best way possible. Kudos to her and the team at ThaiFoon PGH!! Read more
