Delicious! My fiance and I stopped by on a whim and had a nice experience. Cozy and warm, this restaurant had a wonderful... atmosphere. The atmosphere was cozy and adorable and the servers were really kind. They even accomodated us when we arrived before our... reservation time. But the food tasted pretty average and wasn't enough to keep us full for long (even after ordering a starter).The ingredients did taste fresh, but they just lacked some extra love to make a memorable meal. Although good, the chickensandwich only had two small tenders inside. The pasta just tasted like tomatoes on noodles, not enough seasoning. The short rib,which was described to us as a "hefty meal" was very small and didn't include bone. The flavor on this dish was pretty good,though. Another thing to note is that it took 40 minutes for our meal to come out, and one person in our party had their mealcome out almost 10 minutes after the rest of us. Read more

Scratch rules. When they first opened a few years ago, I had some hesitations about its fit for the neighborhood. In the years... past, Scratch has evolved over and over to suit our neighborhood's needs throughout the pandemic and beyond. They saved mydinner with deli/grocery items when we were quarantined. And now, Scratch is open in the mornings for bagels AND coffee ANDdonuts. Amazing. The new configuration of the space with booths + bar on one side and coffee + tables is so nice. Definitelyworth checking out their deadfish pop up on Mondays for Thai food. Read more
