Waffallonia is a tiny, hole-in-the-wall restaurant with an absolutely amazing menu. The waffles are cooked to perfection, and... their pairings of toppings are delicious. I visited with a group of friends, and we all tried the Charleroi, a perfectlygolden-brown Belgian waffle topped with Nutella, banana, and strawberries. It was such a simple dish, yet so well-crafted. Itwas the perfect mid-day treat and will definitely satisfy your sugar cravings. While the indoor seating is limited, the decorinside Waffallonia is also delightful. I love the map of Belgium along the back wall (it makes for a perfect background forphotos), and the furniture is simple, yet functional and attractive. The service was also delightful and quick. Friends picked us up 2 orders of waffles and chocolate ice cream and milkshake for my son Sat 7/30. The waffles were so burnt... and hard. Haven't had them in a while but never this bad. Milkshake was not even as good as previous visits. Read more
