Went on Saturday and had a great time. They regularly have really good live music, and I really appreciate that. We ordered... fries, shrimp tacos, spinach, a Caesar salad, charcuterie board and old fashioneds. - The shrimp tacos were delicious. Woulddefinitely order again. - The spinach was really good, garlicky, buttery, yummy. - The Old Fashioned was good, much better whenwe ordered without soda. A downside is that the bar ran out of glassware, so subsequent rounds came out in plastic cups. - TheCaesar salad was ok, a bit heavy on the dressing, and really heavy on the plain croutons. - The fries were over cooked and notgood. - The charcuterie board was a huge disappointment, dropping the review an entire star... there were 2 meats, one of whichwas delicious (maybe a chorizo or pepperoni variant), the other was acceptable (like a salami)... the chorizo looked like it hadbeen sliced with a butter knife. There was a pile of sweet cranberries, a pile of old blueberries, and a pretty goodstrawberry. Finally, the cheese. There was a pile of yellow and a pile of pepper jack cubes. Straight from a bag. The service was great. The salmon was tasty. The wings need to be seasoned but the salad was good.
Ok hear me out, I had high hopes for this place. But the food wasn't good. Now please understand that this review has nothing to... do with the wait staff. As they looked super over worked, but this place is not a place to go for food. This is a jazz andmature adult hang out which is why I gave it 2 stars. This place was packed with older adults who were hanging out listening tomusic and having drinks. Which was dope as there are not many spots in East Liberty for the older crowd. They should shrink themenu to drinks and bar food. And let the older crowd chill and enjoy. Read more

I hate giving bad reviews, but I'm afraid I have to this time. The food was good (not great, but good), the drinks were good too... (although really, I expected more exotic whiskeys), But our service was terrible. It felt like our waiter just wasn't cut outto be a waiter. He asked us if we'd like a second drink, and we said yes can we please see the menu. The menu appeared a minutelater, and the waiter didn't appear again until it was time for our check, 15 minutes later. He checked in with us once, but wereally didn't see him at all. so if we wanted something extra, or additional, flapping our arms was the only option, and eventhat didn't work. The live piano music was really good, it wasn't too loud, and it was varied. The ambiance was pleasant, butI'm afraid our server just wasn't up to the task. And we're not really picky diners, we just would rather that the waiter wasable to handle his small number of tables. It wasn't even that crowded... Read more
