Worst experience and food I’ve ever had. From the racist waiter to the disgusting food, my experience at this restaurant was... the most terrible thing I’ve ever paid for and I regret wasting time and money coming here. The waiter was sayinginappropriate comments to the couple next to us from China. For example, when the man tried to order dessert with his meal, thewaiter told him that came later and that he would teach him how to order food here. The view could’ve been amazing if theydimmed the lights so you could see, the bread was hard enough to break your teeth. All the food was missing seasoning. Zeroflavor. Everything tasted like they made it in used boiled water then scooped it on a plate. I STRONGLY suggest people stay awayfrom this restaurant. Spent over $100 for tasteless food. My boyfriend ate some of his food, but my plate was completely full.They never asked us if something was wrong with the food or anything like that. The pictures look way better than it tasted. Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. The inside is emaculant and beautiful. We were sat next to the window and had a... beautiful view of the city and Rivers. Our server Don went above and beyond for us. Was very attentive and funny. I had the rackof lamb and french onion soup, it was to die for. Definitely would return to this place. Read more
We had our July 2022 wedding at LeMont and I could not have been any happier with my decision to host our wedding here. From... the moment we first reached out and met with Bill, he made the entire process so easy for us. Bill is a seasoned professionalwith a staff that goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for your wedding. Not to mention, because of theview and decor of the restaurant you have the perfect backdrop for a classic and elegant Pittsburgh wedding with no need ofadditional "extras" which ultimately saves costs for you! I've been here twice. We came because my husband has never been here before. The vegetarian cakes are decent. My husband liked... his rack of lamb and said it was not overcooked or bland. The decor has a very vintage charm. The service definitely could havebeen much better. The waiter was definitely not as friendly to us as he was to the tables around us. The food, drinks, and decorare very traditional and old fashioned American. Nothing too experimental. However, It is done well. The desserts didn't looktoo appealing, so I ordered the creme brulee. The sugar on top was very thick, grey looking, and grainy. It was not properlycaramelised. It was not good, but it was better last time. The other options were slices of cakes. Growing up in Pittsburgh, I had always heard about LeMont. As an adult, returning to visit the city where I grew up, I finally... got to have dinner here and it did not disappoint. The view was, of course, amazing. Our waiter, Tom, was fantastic - friendlyand attentive. My husband got the duck and I got the Steak Diane, which was prepared tableside with a flourish by our waiter. Itwas one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. My husband also thought the duck was delicious. I can’t wait to come back nexttime we visit Pittsburgh! Read more
