of the pittsburgh pizza scene, this is one of the standards to repeat. definitely best fresh and piping hot. we got the thick... crust option but will have thin crust next time (our preference after trying friend?s thin crust cheese pizza). during normaldinner hours may have to wait for a seat. safe bet is getting takeout. they have a lot for parking, which is great since it?s ona small cobblestone side-street. I?m very serious about my pizza. It has to be incredible for a 5 star rating. Fiori?s is seriously incredible! The order... process was a pain with a rude person answering the phone and taking the order. The length of time from order to pick up wasridiculously long. The wait once we arrived to get the pie was also long. But, who cares, this place is without a doubt, thebest pizza I have had in Pittsburgh, period! The crust is crisp and a little chewy, with hint of flour remaining on the bottomcrust. It is thin, but not to thin. The sauce is not overpowering, but it makes the pizza, it has hints of fresh spices and isa little spicy, but not overwhelming. Just the right amount of fresh cheese and you have pizza perfection! I wish I knew therecipe because I live 120 miles away and would love to make this on my own. Luckily, my son lives in Pittsburgh and I?ll beable to get more. This place blows the best pizza shops in NYC out of the water! Loved it!!!!! Read more

Solid pizza joint. Inside is pretty small and can get crowded. Parking can also be an issue. Pizza is HUGE!!! We ordered way too... much. Keep that in mind when ordering! The ?small? can feed 2 people easily. Read more

I read that Fiori's Pizzaria was the best pizza in Pennsylvania, so naturally I had to try it during a visit to Pittsburgh for a... baseball game. I ordered my favorite, pepperoni and bacon pizza and it blew me away. The excellent crust and sauce combined withthe melted cheese was simple but done perfectly. Read more

This place has a lot of hype surrounding it -- many people call this place the best in Pittsurgh, and it I have never been here... where there wasn't a line going out the door. It has a lot of history and it understandably leaves everyone with highexpectations. I hate to say it, but the pizza actually DOES live up to the hype. The dough tastes so fresh, the cheese is fullof flavor, the sauce has a slightly sweet and pleasant hint to it and is truly unique. The place is always staffed to the brimwith hardworking and polite individuals. I honestly wish this pizza WASN'T so good. I've been here a few times, there arealways mistakes which are caused by this place's obsolete ways of doing business which would pretty much solve any mistakes --no online ordering, receitps provided include the price and nothing else, online menu is not accurate, etc. The things is thatthis place is so darn popular and has such good business, they don't exactly have to change anything. They aren't going to losebusiness over these issues because the product is so good. Things like poor parking and mistaken orders aren't going to putthis place out of business. In any case, definitely give this place a try -- be sure to be polite to them, because it is a verydemanding business with a lot of history, and they work in a loud environment where making a mistake may be easy to do -- we'reonly human though.
