I have been on the Viking Yurt twice now - we have loved our experience! So much so that we were gifting it to our friends as a... wedding gift. However, a member of our party has severe food allergies and we would like to confirm that it is safe for her todine on the premises (it is on top of a mountain!!). The number is no longer active, there is no email listed and I have reachedvia their website 4 times in 3 weeks. That is crazy! Any restaurant should have a line of communication for this reason!Especially when so expensive and usually booked for a special occasion. I am writing this review in hopes of a response. Absolutely love this place! Best Grilled Cheese sandwich on the planet. They also have a killer Buffalo Brat and oh, the view... is pretty good too :) ! Read more
The Viking Yurt is up on the slopes which made it a unique experience for me. I walked in just after lunch time and I could tell... there was a huge rush. They do take reservations for dinner, so I'd definitely look into that. They have a pretty good drinkselection which makes for great fun on the mountain. I grabbed a drink and sat out in one of the Adirondack chairs and enjoyedthe view. As you can imagine the view is beautiful at the altitude. Read more

The... atmosphere is fun and unique and to have a piano player who can sing and take requests was a treat! The food was unique and SOgood.
