First time trying Upper Crust tonight. It had been on our list for a while, and I?m so glad we finally went! The food was... delicious, our waiter was SO friendly, and since it was a perfectly crisp fall night, we sat outside on the beautiful patio areawith string lights and heaters, which made for a great ambiance. Our order: Drinks: Apple Cider Martini (AMAZING and large) anda margarita. Appetizers: Mini Eggplant Parm and Gnocchi. They were kind enough to put the entree sauce on the gnocchi for us,which included thick cut bacon and spinach, which was delicious. The gnocchi was perfectly light and pillowy. The eggplant parmhas olives, which I unfortunately don?t eat, but my fiancé loved it. Salads: we ordered two small salads and both were to diefor! The roasted vegetable salad was absolutely incredible - one of the best salads I?ve ever had. I?d come back here for thisalone. The pear and prosciutto salad was also delicious with plenty of toppings. Pizza: we ordered the margherita. The crust wasthin and pastry-like, which I love, and the tomatoes were so fresh. We both said it tasted clean and light - not greasy atall. Dessert (yes, we ate a lot): we ordered the chocolate mousse flourless cake and ice cream. Not good. The meatballs and Pomodoro sauce was awful, it tasted sweet and way too much oregano. It tasted like it was a pre-made... sauce in a jar. The serving size is a joke for the price. Rip off.
