The best in New Haven! Came here with my husband and waited for a table for about an hour. Totally worth the wait. We loved the... old school feel and ambiance of the place. Sally's is one of the original 3 'Apizza' places... in New Haven, founded and successfully operated for decades by Italian immigrants from the Naples area. My only experience with Sally's was better than any recent experience I've had with Pepe's. Been a longtime fan of Pepe's but my... mind might have been changed. The pies are so similar, but the sauce at Sally's was better. Given this was my first visit, Idecided to sit inside to experience the ambiance.
