Roma is one of those New Britain institutions that everyone has gone to at some point. For us ummm "seasoned" patrons, we... remember Roma as a townie bar with a small dining area. Roma has since evolved. The bar and the menu have expanded, there'soutdoor seating, the atmosphere is lively and the crowd includes not only locals but area business owners and past & presentcity officials as well. I ordered a steak & cheese footlong and chicken strips with fries. Both were absolutely awful. The grinder was so salty and... spicy I couldn’t eat it. The chicken strips were small and the fries soggy. When I called to place the order I asked how manystrips come in that meal I was told 4 and they are a good size! The strips I got where no bigger than my index finger! Awful! Ispent $30 and both my daughter and I are completely unhappy! Read more
Good food. But it's a bit on the expensive side in my opinion. Can't speak much on the atmosphere inside because ive always... picked up or got delivery. But they add a good amount of money on for delivery costs. **Edit** in response to the restuarantowners response to my review.. Food is disgusting!! Idk what happened. I use to love this place but more recently it has gone extremely downhill. I’m not... understanding the prices for the quality they are giving. Dog food. Threw a fry on the floor my dog sniffed it and turnedaround. That saying something right there because dogs eat ANY & everything. Read more

Omg...first time here in person...at bar to eat...as dining room closed...late night dinner... I believe the last time I had... eaten at Roma's it was take out food (I remember that was delicious too)... Great service...waitstaff was excellent/friendly...everyone was...really!!! My cheeseburger ???? was amazing...I hadn't had one in quite a long time... a specialtreat...eating out... The prices were pretty good...it was reasonable...for eating OUT!!! Mostly, I cook at home...I rarely everventure out to eat... It was certainly a treat...to eat at Roma's!!!
