I was first introduced to this place by a fellow elected official back in 2019. I went a year ago and got a calzone for my son.... Little did I know it would be so huge it was shareable! I went back yesterday with my son to dine in for lunch and we orderedhalf the menu! Every thing we ate was phenomenal! Got an order wrong and THE OWNER refuses to take ownership of the possibilities that could have mixed the order (waitresses,... take out staff, wrong packaging, etc) How do you mess up 12 Teriyaki Wings for 6 Dry Rub Garlic Parm and 6 shifty tastingsauced wings? Ive tried to make another order but the owner canceled my doordash. I called the following week to place an orderand I was informed that the owner will not serve me because he made the food himself and just because I didnt like the taste ofit I'm in the wrong. Great if you are okay with dealing with miserable Staff and a rude Owner. Literally complained about not getting what I ordered... and the owner refuses to replace the order. Every time I go in the staff looks stressed. I ask and they work doubles and noneof them are ever smiling unless they're taking our order or asking if the foods okay. Read more
Have ordered many meals to go and the second time we ate in house. Came in to sit on the patio with only one waitress working. ... The couple next to us ordered and rather than taking our order also prior to going in, she said that she will be back as shewanted to place orders in the oder that customers came in. This would have taken her all of two minutes. Instead, she comesback to us 15 minutes later. A few minutes after we place our order the couple next to us gets their order. 35 minutes laterwe finally get our appetizer. Never was asked for another drink........rather just decided to get our meal to go as it was notready for an hour and twenty minutes after we arrived. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Connecticut!! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is welcoming and the staff are... friendly and helpful. No matter what we've ordered, the portion sizes are huge, the food is fresh, and the flavor is amazing.
