Pretty delicious BBQ! We had the brisket plate and the smoked wings. The large portions of food are definitely worth the price.
Ordered 2 of the two meat combos, and 2 drinks. Total price was $58 with tip. The brisket and sausage were excellent and the Mac... and cheese were really good. Biggest complaint is price per serving size. The two sides were very small in size while the meatportion was appropriate. Sides had to be less than 4 ounces, maybe 10-12 Mac noodles total. Really comes across as skimpy andcheap with the lower cost side items. Served in a To-go box with plastic silverware instead of a real plate and you get to cleanup your own table. This place is so good it blew my mind! After one visit it's in the running for my favorite bbq joint in Alabama. It checked all... the boxes. Atmosphere is really cool and you order at the counter and watch them portion your order. You can tell the peoplethere really love barbecue and it shows in the food. I tried the pork, brisket, sausage, ribs and turkey. (Everyone in our groupgot something different so we could share.) The pork was fall apart tender and juicy. The brisket was smoky and juicy. Thesausage was ridiculous!!! One of the best barbecue bites I've ever had. All of the sides were rustic and delicious. Drinks areCoke products and are from the fountain which scores extra points. While the decor is cool this place is all about the food.While we were in line the guys who served us talked about how good everything was. They didn't lie. If anything they undersoldit. If you're passionate about barbecue you have to go here because the folks at Chuck Wagon are passionate about barbecue andknow how to cook it.
