Loved it! First time stopping in. Sat at the bar. Tracey, our bartender was great. We had smoked wings that were absolutely... divine and a Caesar salad with grilled blacken chicken. The chicken was probably one of the juiciest, most tender pieces I haveever had. Treat yourself to the onion strings, they were great. Great experience at Donahue's made better by our charming waitress Jodi. It was a very busy Friday evening and we had a 15... minute wait and were given a choice of a table top in the noisy bar area but we reconsidered and were seated in the calmerrestaurant area. Jodi came over with a big smile and said "you thought you got rid of me eh?" That was the beginning of amarvelous evening. Jodi quickly brought our drinks and took shortly after our appetizers of panko breaded mushrooms and friedcalamari. Excellent choice, not greasy at all! Also the entree's of Fish n chips and the Fried Fisherman's platter wereexceptional. We look forward to returning when we visit Madison next year. Read more

We are newbies wanting to try something and somewhere new. Saw this place had good reviews. Came and it has a bar style area and... a dining room. Also looked like it had outside dining. The specials looked good and the menu had nice options. We chose insidedining room. Did have some handicap accessible tables. Our waitress was nice and on top of things. Both our meals were delishand had dessert. Cool ambiance inside. Liked our beer actually came in a pint glass and not a snifter glass. Read more
