Little out of the way place that is absolutely awesome!! On a business trip and my wife read the reviews and navigated me there.... So glad I went. They need to charge more for thier great food. I am only giving this 1star since we were not able to get our food . We waited over a half hour on 2 salads and we're told they... had a big party order ahead of us. Yep 5 people ordering breakfast....but unfortunately I don't think over a half hour wait for2 salads is appropriate. We ended up walking out. I understand they are under new owners... well the new owners better get ittogether soon. I loved the corner cafe before it was sold always great food and great service. Adorable little diner! Not much space inside, maybe 10-15 tables? The staff were definitely the highlight of the place, they... were friendly, chatty, and helpful. This is the type of place you come in when bored just to chat up the staff. The food wasgood. The banana bread walnut dish was surprisingly moist and tasty! The place DOES have a bathroom, but finding it is tricky:you have to walk in the back THROUGH the kitchen and find a women and men restroom on the left. Ask if unsure, but there is arestroom! Came here while visiting Salem and loved the place. It's tiny inside but the experience is not. Got a corned beef hash (pay the... extra $1 for the home made) omelet and it was so good. Will definitely come back every year we come. Read more
