Owner daughter sure ran business away and food use to be good tried it after 10 years of staying away and nothing changed after... she got hands on it. Tried again on 7/13/2018 paid 2.25 for large soda filled to top of cup with large chunks of ice so had achild size amount of soda in cup. poor service waited 25 minutes in line inside only two customers in line a head of me. Customer service here is beyond ungrateful of their customers. The owner was present when my daughter and I ordered at the cash... register. Sadly the cashier forgot to get our drinks and disregarded us due to playful conversation with the owner (femaleheavier set & lots of makeup.) We stood there and waited for either of them to turn our direction so that I can remind her aboutour drinks but nothing they continued playful talk as we stood maybe 2 to 3 feet away just standing at the register, nearclosing no one else was in line. Almost as if they purposely ignored us or just didnt care why we just stood standing thereperiod, who knows. All I know is that if I came from such a prominent family business and had the honor of taking part in thatkind of ownership I would VALUE, serve, and RESPECT my customers everyday. I had this discussion with my daughter through theexperience as we ate there at Robertos that evening for I have many years of just retail management experience. If it were me Iwould smile and say hello to all that enter the door and especially ask what is needed when a customer is just standing there. Switched to "THE CAN?" I've lived close to Roberto's for years and have been going there for decades. However the last few years... the quality of food has gone so far down that I can't eat there anymore. I tried to go back out of loyalty and memories of goodfood a few times.. and still the same over salty taste. I think they have switched their seasoning to "THE CAN" which is aseason-all can of chemical MSG. Everything there tastes too salty and like chemical burn. I cannot eat more than a couple bitesbefore my mouth is revolted. It's not as salty as Si Senor Express though. If they only went back to the old ways. Use actualsalt and pepper. Less is more. Many places around town have switched to "the can" and it sucks. Read more
