I have gone to this subway for years and have never had a problem the people were always friendly. However today I had a... horrific time, I brought my service dog with me into the restaurant while I ordered my food. In the state of Connecticut Servicedogs are protected under the law and allowed to enter anywhere their handler goes. They repeatedly told me dogs were not allowednear their food (keep in mind my dog was seated at my side 3-4ft away from the glass. Both the man and the woman continued toharass me in front of other customers after I tried to explain a few different times that she is my service dog. That I need herfor specific reasons and they are not able to tell me to not bring her in. The kept just repeating ?next time, no dog allowed.?It got to the point where they were not stopping, so I left the store in tears. Completely disgusted by their behavior, I simplyjust needed to get my lunch and leave, but they did not quit. I sincerely hope no one ever has to go through what I did todaywith the Killingworth subway. Shame on you both. Read more
This is my favorite subway. The owners always greet you with a smile and genuine questions about your day, the ingredients are... always fresh and clean, and the bread is always freshly baked. The restaurant is clean and spaced out for safe dining andordering. I?ve always enjoyed going to this subway and would recommend it over Durham or Clinton, better quality, fresherveggies, and friendlier staff. Read more
This is my first time at this Killingsworth location and the customer service was horrible. They were both rude but the sandwich... was good. At least they didn't toast my bread but they snapped at my co-worker and I, then the Indian guy went off at her thather order would take up his time but there was no line. I never had this kind of trouble at Whitney Ave where I usually go. Read more
Love this place, it's under new management and everyone is so nice, helpful and they treat with respect. Everything looks super... clean! They are always cleaning and I've never seen anyone make beautifully made sandwich. Highly recommend it . Read more
