There isnt much around the Island Park area, but if you happen to be nearby, go to Connie's! She is usually there to greet and... seat her guests. All good down home cooking and portions are not small. I had the Huckleberry hefeweizen and it was great! Myfilet was a little overcooked but still juicy and good. If you get a chance, ask about dessert when you order your meal. Youdont want to miss out on the limited quantity of pies! They are yummy! Read more

Hubby and I shared a Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and some fries. Service was very good, food was hot and tasty. Enjoyed reading... the tablecloth - it was fun to read while waiting. There's a cute store inside that has a lot of cute things. Read more

We love Connie's we have eaten here often and have not been disappointed! Everyone's food was delicious. The hamburgers were so... good. The grilled cheese was so yummy. My husband loved his corn bread and wanted to take a pan home! He also loved his frenchdip! Our server was fabulous. He asked us often if we needed anything else! We love all their decor in their restaurant as well! Read more

I found myself at this establishment with my family after spending a couple of days in the area and vehemently enjoying the food... we received at every single restaurant (especially those only 20 minutes away in West Yellowstone) except for Connie?s. Thewoman who seated us was far from friendly, but (to be fair) they were super busy, so she might have simply been overwhelmed bythe crowd. Once we we?re seated at our table, we were promptly attended to by our waiter; the service was fine, not great, butgood enough given how crowded it was. This experience really started going down hill when we received our food. Two of usordered the grilled chicken salad, which pretty much consisted of dry, rubbery chicken served atop limp lettuce and relativelyflavorless and presumably unfresh vegetables. The other two members of my party ordered the chili. As proud Texans, we LOVE aborderline absurd amount of seasoning on our food, so it was not unexpected for the chili to taste a little different than whatwe are used to. This regional difference could also explain the high bean-to-meat ratio; however, no regional difference couldexcuse the fact that the chili was served cold with a less-than-mediocre flavor. It wasn?t even hot enough to melt the cheese. Icould never ethically serve the dishes we received and call myself a restaurant. Even though we were very disappointed with ourfood, we had a long day, and did not want to go through the trouble of sending all 4 of our meals back to the kitchen to bealtered/remade; we simply wanted to leave this restaurant as soon as possible. Some advice to any fellow hungry travelerspassing through the Island Park area: you are better off going to the convenience store (Robin?s Roost) across the highway andmaking yourself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Visiting out here to explore Yellowstone and wanted to have a good meal, which we did but well service was lacking. The food... was great. I ordered a half rack of ribs and they were perfectly cooked and fell off the bones. I ordered an appetizer offried Mac and cheese balls which my son said were delicious. My wife ordered fish and chips. The fish wasn't special but itwasn't Terrible either. Service was lacking. My server barely came to my table and never refilled our waters. When it came togetting the check she was more worried about setting a table with water when nobody had even sat down at that table. It tookanother 15mins longer past that point to get my check and even though I had my payment out the server left for another 5minbefore my wife got fed up with waiting. We ended up having to wait by the register for another server to cash us out before ourserver argued with her to cash out. Read more
