Pretty quick food, wide variety on the menu. Someone before us cleared them out of a few of the things I wanted to try (Navajo... Tacos, chili cheese dogs, small pizzas) but the food we got was tasty, and a good value and volume for the price. It falls to 4star only because the butterscotch shakes we got barely had any butterscotch flavor, otherwise great local place. Read more
An all-around great place to get a burger/fries/shake. Nothing fancy just a great western burger, crispy curly fries and onion... rings, and excellent shakes (got the oreo and the gal got a mint). Stopped here twice in a week traveling through. The first trip was exceptional. Great personal size supreme pizza served... quickly. The second trip. Not so much. I was hungrier, so ordered a medium supreme pizza. I sat in the dinning room for fortyfive minutes for a pizza that was ready in fifteen and not offered to me. I think it's family owned and operated, so I didn'tmake an issue of it. I'm not taking food off their table if mine was still edible. Just not as tasty after it sat. Read more
Usually this place is decent but the quality has suffered recently. Normally the shakes are thick and overflowing the cup rim... but the kid working accidentally left the chocolate out (no big deal, just pointed it out, and even tipped him $2 for having toremake it). Well, another guy stepped in before he could, and just dumped it another cup, added the chocolate, and reblended it,and brought me the thinnest and smallest shake I've ever had here. Then I watched the first kid chug what was left of my firstshake while I received a little less. Errors happen and are no big deal, and I even tipped for the trouble because I hatesending anything back, but I got a disappointing shake for it. All while an employee finished the rest of the nice thick firstone *while I watched*. Then another employee said it was thin because of the banana (wasn't the first time it was served withonly banana or anytime I've ordered one in the past). Been here a bunch and planned to get breakfast before heading out, butthis was my last time. If you get a shake made incorrectly, just go with it or you'll be more disappointed with your "remake".None of the employees seemed happy or seemed to care so there may have been something going on with the place. But $18 for aburger, fries, and shake should be a little bit better than what they serve now. Read more

I love going to Mom N Pop fast food places in smaller towns. I get some of the most tantalizing food ever. This time I was... disappointed. 1st the good stuff. The lady manning the counter was amazing. Very friendly and thoughtful. She came out to thevehicle to verify my order. Was pleasantly surprised. Next the food was prepared as I had ordered it. Was thankful I didn't haveto go back in to get it resolved. However, I was so disappointed in the food itself. I had a chili burger with tots. The chiliwas very bland, bordering on tasteless. It could have been better with some seasoning. The tots were perfect. Crunchy on theoutside and soft on the inside. The menu is a la carte. If I come to The Chowhound again. I will limit myself to snacking orcooling of with a shake. Read more
