Now I know why Gallup only has 1 Applebee's???? Give out nothing but burnt ends, and don't know how to cook anything except... pasta, burgers and wings Ordered the "ribs" but they were halfway cremated. Beyond burnt, nothing but char and bone. Read more
The parking lot was almost empty. We went in for food and Ruben the host told us we really didn't want to eat there because the... wait was 45 min. We told him 45 min was ok the restaurant was pretty empty maybe 3 tables were filled, he told us we coulddrive around and he could call us later or we could wait in the waiting area. I asked if we could be seated and wait there buthe did not. It seamed like he had no interest in doing anything. I asked for the manager he told us the manager was busycooking. Our server did a decent job but the food was absolutely terrible. We ordered a pasta dish, the pasta was way overcooked and... chewy. Also ordered the ribeye, it was cooked perfectly to a med rare but the side of broccoli was very obviously bad. Itsmelled terrible and there were black spots on them. When we informed the manager all we got was a small discount. No apology. She simply said she'd tell the cook manager. I don't feel we were properly compensated for the amount of time we waited for atable and for the terrible food we were served. Read more
The food was good. The drinks were great. The service was good, considering it was extremely busy there. It seems in Gallup... the streets roll up on Sunday after 6pm. We had just arrived in Gallup and only a handful of restaurants were open. Add tothat the shortage of workers, and you have folks with short tempers and attitudes. This place is hit or miss. We stop here everytime we pass through town as it is right by the hotel. Its never been fantastic.... Its always been just OK. This time the wings came out cold, but the replacement batch was very good. We will swing by again onthe way home. Always hoping for a better experience. Read more
