Todays trip was okay-ish. Our server was very new and she did the absolute best she could. Every place is hurting right now and... is understaffed. It?s unfortunate. Our server was very caring and understanding and this review does not reflect on her a bit.The food was nowhere up to par. Ordered a steak medium, it was very much well done. The Cilantro lime chicken was smothered inwhat we?re assuming was ?1000 Island? dressing and maybe Italian dressing. Ordered ribs on the 2/$30 and both half racks werebeyond dry and not enjoyable a bit. Fries on all plates were cold. Only thing that came out remotely fresh were the mozzarellasticks. Tonight was horrible. We sat at the bar. Waited 30 minutes for my drink, the bartender barely spoke, no smile, and ignored... another couple that was there as they tried so hard to say goodbye. Our server was good. Food was decent. I waited about 15 to 20 minutes for my Perfect Margarita only for it to have fruit flies... in it.......???? I watched the bartender and I know I got the bottom of the bottle........but....ewwww. my chicken tenders andfries were good. No complaints there. Let's talk about the building. OMG. If I were not with a group, I would have turned aroundand walked out. It is dusty. It is moldy. Walking through the front doors, there needs repairs. Ordered the Burboun Street steak. I've been ordering them for 20 years. The thing they brought out to me was dry, overcooked and... as thin as a Waffle House steak. The coffee was burnt and the sweet tea had an awful aftertaste. Either they have changedvendors for their steaks or the cook was horrid (or both). I will never set foot in an Applebee's again. The food was fabulous as always. It came out quick, hot and fresh. Our server had a disinterested attitude. She tried to... take my plate while I was still eating. I had to go to the bar to request a cocktail. I would have ordered dessert but shebrought our ticket before I could ask for a dessert (we weren't offered the opportunity to order dessert). Read more
