I asked the waitress if they offered a militarydiscount and she said they do not offer that. ** By far the worst 8 oz cut of ribeye I've ever seen it was so thin andunappealing. The Mac and cheese was unevenly cooked so there were hard pieces of noodle and mushy and the "smoke" taste wasunpleasant. The turtle cheese cake was good until I tasted the crust which had a freezer burn flavor. The waitress was nice atfirst until I hard asked for a different drink since the one I tasted was club soda tasting which gave her an attitude. Mysweet mother recommended this place and this is the outcome of our dine in experience. All in all spend your money elsewhere. Read more
Locals should know they have a great salad bar. The food is always good. Chambers can be busy, but they get you seated quicker... than and other busy place. Plus, it's my Father in law's favorite place. Read more
Our food and service was good. Ordered steak fingers with sweet potato fries, the vegetable, and brown gravy. Everything was... fine except half way through my meal I found a random French fry in my gravy, with no explanation from my server as to how itgot there. Didn?t finish eating my gravy. Then when we were paying the bill at the register, my husband tried makingconversation with the lady running the register and she completely ignored him and wrote him off. Wouldn?t eat there again. This was our first visit on a trip through Farmington. The dining room is comfortable, the restrooms are clean. The menu is... extensive and everything sounds good. Lori, our server, was super patient and friendly as we took our time choosing our meals.We opted for salads, but the steaks I saw coming from the kitchen looked awesome. There is also a hot buffet with ribs, brisketand sausage that was very tempting. We will definitely make it a point to dine at Porter's when we travel through Farmington. Read more

The food was pretty good, but unfortunately after expressing our food allergy needs and being ensured the food we were getting... was safe, we had a serious allergic reaction incident. That happens and could have been a simple mistake, but when the ownerbecame ridiculously defensive when bringing up the issue, it became clear this wasn't a place we wanted to support ever again.No excuse for rude response we experienced when we were being very polite and asking and expecting nothing from them.
