Delicious, fresh, local, authentic! This is the real deal! Best Mexican food I've found in the area. Traditional dishes with... all the famous desserts - flan, churros, biscochitos, empanadas, and even Mexican coke! My relleno was the best I've ever had. My server was excellent. They sell out of some baked goods through the day. The dining area is very casual with about 10tables. Read more

Today (06/18/2022) at approximately 2:01pm I called in a takeout order for my family. Upon calling The Dona Maria restaurant for... my order I was greeted by a female with poor customer service. During the conversation her choice of words felt neglectful, hertone was condescending and she didn?t give me a total and did not properly confirm my order. When I arrived at the restaurant myorder was not ready because she forgot the beans and rice and the cost was also significantly more expensive then advertised onthe menu (I suppose that?s because inflation) but it would have been nice to have been advised of the price change. When I gethome to feed my family we discovered that the menudo did not come with any oregano or cilantro even tho I specifically requestedthat be included and also instead of the Tripa tacos we got Chicharones tacos. I called the restaurant to notify and get myorder corrected and was greeted by the same individual who then claimed that management was not on duty. I explained thesituation and she advised me that my order was correct and that I thought I had chicharones because my tripa was overcooked. Iasked why I was served overcooked food and she told me she didn?t know and asked if would like something else and I told her Iwould like the Asada instead she advised me it would be ready when I arrived and when I arrived she told me that I couldn?tpossibly get chicharone tacos because they didn?t serve that even though it?s written on menu and they only give exchanges if Ibrought back the other food. I understand the reasoning but I feel that should have been made a point during the phone call. Idon?t feel like driving back into Farmington from Flora Vista so i?m gonna give up right here. I?m really disappointed with theway things turned out because they have a decent menudo but not at the price of my respect. Read more

Good beans, nice crisp homemade chips with a spicy salsa. Chilaquiles had good flavor but were a bit too crunchy for me. Yummy... biscochitos. Small dining room, friendly service. Read more

Servers are not friendly, they make you get your own creamer instead of bringing it to you as they bring your coffee or drinks... as you asked for it. The front of the house is clean and tidy, restrooms are clean. The food is delicious, big portions to getyour money?s worth and they don?t skimp on the meat, very flavorful dishes. Read more
