Oh man, this place is wild. The atmosphere is very much old southern and not very welcoming unless you?re a local that comes... here daily. I?ve lived here my entire life, and have visited here 3 times total. The biscuits are not the best, and a placecalled biscuit king leads you to believe you?re going to get a solid one. These are not flaky golden brown biscuits. They aremore like burnt scones, very thick, slightly undercooked inside and over cooked outside. The tables were?.sticky? We tried 3tables and they all have this weird film on top. The bottles of something (BBQ?) had crusted over on the lids and we?re stickyon the outside. This just lacks basic cleaning and sanitation, I wonder what they got on the health inspection score? I didn?tsee it posted. Watched the cooks serving and making food with bare hands, while grabbing random other items to restockthings. We waited 41 minutes total for the food. That was a let down. They kept saying ?you?re next? but we saw them servingothers that came after us. So maybe don?t order the steak and eggs. Read more

Stopped in yesterday with a gf, around 1230, we both had breakfast. She had an ultimate, which is an all in one. I had a 2... egg, hash browns, toast n very crispy, mmm, bacon. Very good, sorry no new pics!! 3rd visit 2nd time here, nice atmosphere, foods great, you order, you wait, food is made to order, no heat lamps . We had biscuits n sausage gravy with fried eggs on top.Their lunch offerings are very tempting too, I will be going back. Very busy place! Read more

My best friend told me about this place. I was skeptical. I got there after the normal crowd. I was the only one there and... ordered what was recommended, the ultimate biscuit. It was nothing short of amazing. It?s a very deceiving looking biscuit.Probably one of the best I?ve ever had hands down. Read more

As breakfast restaurants go, we found Biscuit King's Cafe to be about average. Orders are placed at the counter, coffee is self... service and they bring your food to your table when it's ready. We waited about 25 minutes for our meals but we weren't in ahurry and had plenty of fresh, hot coffee so we didn't mind the wait. Our food was hot and freshly prepared except for thebiscuits. Ours were very dry and apparently were cooked much earlier in the day. Given the name 'Biscuit King' perhaps ourexpectations were a bit too high. We were not impressed. We only ate a few bites of our biscuits and tossed the rest in thetrash. We also tried an apple cinnamon biscuit and a blueberry biscuit and they were both sweet and tasty! Overall, except forthe biscuits the food was good and we may revisit to try some of the other items on the menu. Update: We revisited Biscuit Kingwith family members this morning. We were told biscuits were cooking and would be ready in about 20 minutes so we ordered, gotcoffee and waited. Breakfast was, as stated above, average. The biscuits were, of course, warm and fresh. The consistency isthick, more like a scone than a biscuit, and not to our liking. The rest of our breakfast fare was average, about the same youmight get at any other breakfast restaurant. We may return for breakfast again in the future but we will order toast. Read more
