Tonight I went into Subway to get the $7.99 meal deal and after I placed my order and my sandwich was being prepared, I was... asked about what toppings I wanted and told the young man tomato, red onion, and bell pepper. He got the first two toppingscorrect and if he had a question about the third topping, all he had to do was ask and I would have repeated it to him; insteadof adding the bell peppers, he started dumping salt and pepper all over my sandwich. I stopped him and told him no; I wantedbell pepper and he told me that I needed to speak up because he didn't hear what I said!!!! ( Mind you, he did manage to get thefirst two toppings correct so I am not buying that he didn't hear the third and bell pepper sounds nothing like salt andpepper)!!!! He didn't need to be rude by any stretch of the imagination; all that it would have taken to diffuse the situationwould have been to say that he was sorry that he missed the last part of what I said and offered to make me another sandwich andthat would have been fine, but he didn't do that. I looked at him and told him that he could keep his sandwich, and I walkedout. I plan to have some dialogue with the manager about what happened tonight and let her know that the particular employeeabout whom I am speaking needs additional training on how to speak to the public!!!!
