This place fires on all cylinders, as soon as you walk in you're hit with a feeling of home. The ambiance of this place is very... down to earth, everything about our visit was awesome, the service, the food, this place just gets it right. From cocktaildrinks which were delightful, she had a French 75 and I the Sazerac, down to the wine we had with our main dishes, she had the8 oz filet Oscar style, and I had the grilled Halibut that was melt in your mouth like butter. And the deserts were just divine. I had the Key lime bread pudding and she had the creme brulee. Both equally good but if there was one thing the crust on thecreme brulee could of been a bit thicker. Our whole anniversary experience at the Wash House Restaurant was extraordinary! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted... by a cheerful person who just so happened to be our server. She was fabulous throughout the entire meal. Unfortunately, I’mterrible at names, but she was a taller woman who had two daughters (1 & 7). She was phenomenal on telling us about desserts asshe actually sold us on getting the Key Lime Bread Pudding. Exquisite! One of my favorite parts was being greeted by theamazingly talented Toby Law! He and the rest of the chefs at Wash House Restaurant create the most delicious food! We got theChateaubriand and the Pork Shank. Everything from the meat to the vegetables were magnificent. It's such a treat when I have dinner at The Wash House in Point Clear. We head there for birthday dinners, date night, holiday... dinners. Great atmosphere and their steaks are to die for! We alway run into friends at The Wash House. You can't go wrong withdate night dinner. Very romantic!!! Read more
Wow, don't let the name or the unassuming appearance of the building fool you, this place serves some of the best meals in the... gulf region. On a Tuesday night at 7:30 it was packed. The Chateaubriand was some of the best I've ever had. I highly recommendthis restaurant but would suggest you make a reservation. Read more

My husband and I LOVE this restaurant. Service was great and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere the Saturday night we went.... We both ordered the wedge salad (amazing), the swordfish (also amazing) and the turtle cheesecake (absolutely fantastic). Thefood was delivered to our table quickly, and it was challenging to eat it all. Well worth every penny spent! I cannot recommendthis restaurant enough. I didn’t take pictures of this meal.
