Quintessential Mexican restaurant that serves large portions and tastes like several ingredients came from a can. The plates... come out scorching hot like they were put into an oven to warm everything up. The large portions come with a heaping potion ofrice and refried beans. The chimichanga, which is supposed to be fried, was topped with sour cream and guacamole which made itsoggy instead of crispy. Stick to the soft tacos as they were the best dish. Read more

Been here more times than I can count (still waiting on my plaque) and it never fails to be delicious, quality, authentic... Mexican in a homey environment with great service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food. From the never endingchips and salsa to the fajitas to the fried ice cream, you won't be disappointed. Few places have been able to match theconsistency over time of Acapulco's. Get yourself some chile con queso, some spicy salsa, and a fajita to guarantee a greatmeal. Read more

It's always so nice to have great food. My bf was taking me to places to explore and he took me here. The first time we came... here we got the fiesta platter. Perfect for little appetites and just wants a taste of everything. The second time weve beenhere the Queso was so nice and I crave it now when I want chips. Drinks are always so good I always go for a fruity margaritaand the most bomb is the buffalo wings. It's the best wings I've ever had in my life! I promise!! It's warm juicy crispy andyummy flavor. It's not greasy at all. Service was so good. They're very quick with service and they're so nice. A really greatplace to have some very good food. Read more

After living in CA for 17 years, AND being a food critic there where I was PAID to find, eat and criticize, I think I have... become adept at ferreting out the best of the best. For Mexican food, owner Reuben has achieved that big time. For one thing,he is one of the FEW Mexican restaurants that does NOT use the dreaded Canola--really really bad oil. He know this and actuallywill consider our favorite--Sustain--for the future. We ordered the chicken mole and a cheesy pork quesadilla, and achimichanga and and pork enchilada (two different occasions). and all were delicious. The mole is refined and incorporated intothe enchilada, not just poured atop, which makes it rich and dreamy. The quesadilla was meaty and cheesy, and served with bothsour cream and guac. Yum. Loved the chimichanga, again with guac and sour cream. the pork enchilada was brimming full withdelicious shredded pork and a lot of cheesy goodness. And, of course, their margaritas are stellar (more affordable than at somearea places), and there are always the complimentary chips and salsa appetizers. Thanks Rueben, for running the best Mexicaneatery in the area, and surviving the huge challenges of the last few years. We're so glad you're still there to be our go tofor Mexican food, every bit as good as our CA experiences. Read more
