Best price on beer I found in the area. Seafood chowder is excellent and everything I've eaten in the 6 times I've eaten here... this fall have been very good. Good prices too. Read more
Chelo's is usually a guaranteed four star rating, but this time proved differently and shows some kinks in their online to-go... system. We ordered via Door Dash and opted to pick up. The food was ready 15 minutes earlier than the time given at the time ofplacing the order. While it seems like that should be a good thing, it meant the food sat waiting all that time until it couldbe picked up. It wasn't until getting the food home it was found that one of the entrées was entirely the wrong thing. It waslisted correctly on the Door Dash receipt, but whoever transferred the information from Door Dash to the restaurant's systementered the wrong the dish, which the entrée shown on their receipts. Additionally, because the order was ready so early, theprotein in the dish was dried out by the time we got it. The overall quality of both dishes made it obvious how quickly theywere thrown together. A little more care and attention would have made this experience very different. Read more
This is a good spot that gets an A+ for cost control. Service was good. They'd benefit from seating people and informing them of... a little, wait instead of leaving them to sit in the crowded entrance for 25 minutes.
