We were a party of 7. We had a reservation and were quickly seated. The server took our drink order quickly but then took quite... a while to return to get our food order although the place did not look full. The food was great. I mistakenly received riceinstead of fries but the server took care of it immediately and the hot fresh fries came out soon after. The server forgot arequest for a soda and it took a bit to get her attention to ask again. So overall: great food and drinks, reasonably priced.Service was good when the server was there but could be more attentive. Read more
Received a gift certificate to this establishment so we decided to give it a try. I?ll start off with the the drive to the... Tavern, as I had put the address listed on the certificate, into my GPS and come to find out the address was incorrectconsidering we pulled up to someone?s home (ended up googling the place to find the correct address). Upon arrival, we wereseated immediately by a nice gentleman at the door. Once our server came over we had mentioned such issue regarding thecertificate inaccuracy and she didn?t really seem to care or that she would?ve passed the message onto management (which Ithought was odd). After such conversation, we were given bread and corn bread which, the corn bread was pretty good & moist. Wethen put in for our drinks (red wine and sangria) along with an order of Calamari. The drinks were good however, I thought itwas strange that my first glass of sangria came to me in a mason jar w/Maraschino cherries then the second, in a wine glass withan orange garnish and drink umbrella? As for the Calamari, super small pieces but, other than that it was okay. Our entrees thenarrived, in a timely manner. We ordered one of their specials for the evening (Chicken Saltimbocca) and a Greek Salad withgrilled chicken which again, pretty good. The music was of an odd combination, there were several different genres playing whichmakes it confusing as far as the atmosphere goes. Service and overall experience was decent.
