I have been going to this restaurant for many years and I was happy until today.9/16/22 I went in and got a fish and chip meal... for $16.99 and they gave me half a fish it was greasy floppy it was terrible you call this a $16.99 meal? I don't. As many asmy friends have been saying did I get last night's meal I'm thinking ? I think I did. This what a child would eat . My nieceeven tried to rewarm it up and get it crispy but there was no fish whatsoever under that batter so it all ended up in thegarbage. Had the family style chicken. The white meat was dry. The dark meat was perfect. Also came with pasta and a very good salad. ... My other 2 guests had the turkey dinner and the loved it. Stopped by here after going to Marshall’s on a whim and had the best experience. Our server was very nice even though the... people behind us were giving her a hard time. It’s a casual restaurant but very busy. I got the stuffed lobster which was*chef’s kiss* and my boyfriend got the ribeye. He liked it much better than the one from Texas Roadhouse the other day. Eventhough we’re from CT this place will definitely deserves a revisit. I can’t wait to go back. They seem to have everything Ilove about food. Read more
A a friend of mine came to visit from rural Pennsylvania during his vacation. He had never had a true lobster roll. I called... Davenport to see if they had fresh Lobster, and they did. He had a very pleasant experience with our server Kyrie, and the mostsucculent, moist, fresh lobster roll I have ever had. I grew up in Massachusetts and have vacationed in Maine many times.
