This is a negative review for all of Cafe Rio, not just this location, but unfortunately you can't leave a review on the entire... establishment. My boys always love the niño quesadilla, but my six year old recently has been wanting more food, so I startedto order him the small quesadilla on the kids menu. I assumed it would be bigger than a niño quesadilla, plus with meat in it.Turns out it is exactly the same as a niño quesadilla... This is a big problem, considering the price difference. A niño is.79 cents. A small quesadilla is $4. You might think that the difference in price is due to it having meat inside, but no, ifyou want meat inside, you have to pay extra! So what are you paying extra for, Cafe Rio? Seriously, what the heck?? And this isnot just a mistake from this one location, I thought that too, but have since had the exact same thing happen at every locationI've tried. Just posting this as a warning to anyone who is considering a small quesadilla. Just get yourself a niño quesadillaand save yourself the irritation and disappointment. (The picture is a side by side comparison of both quesadillas. The top oneis the niño, and the bottom one is the small. And I paid the extra money for there to be meat in it.) Read more

Unfortunately the employees did not understand English well enough to be able to make an enchilada according to order. We... ordered three enchiladas. All three ended up with different combinations of rice inside the tortilla, rice added beforesalamander, rice added after. Some more training would be a good idea. Otherwise it was good. I wish they had a black ice teaoption available. Read more

We eat from Cafe Rio weekly and love it! Today the food was off though and the tortillas weren?t fully cooked and there was hard... rice in our food. The staff were very efficient in the line though. Most importantly Jeff who was working the dining areadeserves to be recognized. As we came in he opened the door for us even though he was holding trays in his other hand. He thentook our used trays off our table and brought us a to go bag. This guy provided excellent service and we appreciated him. Read more

Terrible. I ordered an online order because the line is always so slow. They can never get it right. They forgot one of my items... and gave me flour tortillas instead of corn for a person who is allergic to flour! The cheese was not melted, there was way toomuch sauce and barely any meat in the enchiladas. Not to mention when I went to pick it up, despite there being severalemployees hanging out chatting with each other I had to wait 10 minutes for someone to come over to me to hand me my take outorder. There are now so many more Mexican restaurants in the area that are so much better! Don?t go here! Read more

This was an unusual experience. For whatever the reasons, they were significantly understaffed. Yet there was no fault finding,... complaining or anxious rushing. Instead, the staff carried on to provide delicious food under the unusual circumstances theyfound themselves. It was a long wait, yet I saw them function in multiple roles, deal with a rather large in store order andkeep their cool. I even observed great kindness to customers. Well done! Read more
