Great place for a cold beer and a laugh with the owner. We had a great time in this historic pub.
First off, our server was very good. She was attentive and very pleasant. I ordered a chicken sandwich with a salad. My wife... ordered an 8oz prime rib with a baked potato and salad. My chicken sandwich and salad was quite good. My wife's prime rib waspretty bad. She ate about 3 bites a n d that was all she could take. It was grossly over salted and it was tough. Not good atall. The baked potato was way under cooked. The only part of her meal that was any good was the salad and the bread that wasserved with the salad. Read more
We are just traveling through town and stopped here. The bartender was very nice and it seems like a family-owned bar since the... 1940s. He said that location has been a bar for 122 years. Apparently the big secret of the bar is a wine cellar in thebasement and if you ask the bartender about it he may let in on the secret. Read more

The cook (I'd prefer chef) was spot on the order. I am not a fan of sirloin steaks but ordered it because the others were way... too large. The steak was cooked the steak (mr) and the meat was tender, juicy and tasty. It is hard to be spot on with moststeaks but I'd rate it a 9 out of 10. I went and met the chef a young (twentyish) lady that was doing a lot of orders. I amtruly impressed the quality of food and an amazing chef! The staff we friendly and caring.
