We eat here from time to time. Always ordered out and the food is decent. The only reason it doesn't get a better review is... because they cut my calzone like a pizza. So i get it home and it's cold. If I wanted it cut, I would have ordered pizza. Neverin my life, have I ever seen a restaurant cut a calzone into pizza wedges. This wasn't a fluke. I have eaten here several times and ordered pizza to go many times. The food is good when it is good and below average when it... is not. The same is true of the pizza and that is why I can only give 3 stars. Even 3 stars is a stretch. The probelm is thefood is not consistent. The menu is interesting with a few standout items. When they are well prepared they are quite good butthe norm is to overcook most of the food. When they are busy, it is often beyond overcooked, it is nearly burnt. Sadly andhorribly it seems they serve it anyway! Why? The implication is they either don't know the dish or pizza is way overcooked orthey just can't bring themselves to do a do-over unless you complain. I refuse to believe they don't care. Having somebackground in the restaurant business I cannot understand this. Georgia's has unrealized potential. The menu is interestingand they occasionally get it right. If the food was consitenlty as good as it is when it is at its best, I would eat hereoften. It is nearby and they prices are reasonable for what it can be.
