This place is okay as far as Sushi joints go. It's pretty good but it's not really great so if you're looking for something to... get your sushi fix on this is a decent place for that but there are other options that are a little bit better quality. it'shard to find really great sushi in Utah County. They used to be great and it was our go to sushi place. I'm really sad that something has happened to impact the quality of... this restaurant. The last 3 times I have been over the course of the past 6 months the sushi has tasted old. The extra star isfor the service provided. I'd give zero stars if I could. Me and my dad come here often, typically can deal with the long wait times (up to 30 min for... food) However today it took 20 min just for drinks and soups, we were alone in the restaurant for our first 15 minutes. On topof that, the one drink that wasn't water was brought wrong and warm. Then 2 tables came in afterwards and immediately gotdrinks and started getting sushi. After 35 minutes with only 1 visit to refill our waters, we finally left and paid for oursoup. Longest wait we've had to deal with and will definitely not be coming again. Not sure many people who have an hour +for lunch, completely unacceptable service, and I've served for 4 years in 3 restaurants, not once was I that slow without anyconsider for my customers. My wife and I went Superbowl day, no other Japanese restaurants were open. Actually, almost all restaurants were closed that... day. There was only one other group there. The portions were very good, because the fish was not at all fresh. The price wasaverage across most other Sushi restaurants in Salt Lake, so the there isn't any excuse for not having good fish. I will notrecommend another option here, but there are several better places in a reasonable distance. Read more
