I never knew the owner of this business was very incompetent. But she proved herself. Very insolent myopic human being. It?s... just a matter of time. First time my husband ordered pounded yam and egusi from this restaurant he had instant diarrhea after eating the food. We tried... to support them again and ordered 2 orders of jollof rice plantain and goat meat through uber eats, when the food came it was atotal disaster. The plantain was half cooked and soggy, the jollof rice was tasteless and there was 1 bone and 1 piece of smallgoat meat in each at $35 a plate. Even though its a nice thing to support our black owned businesses this kind of service isvery unproductive and for a restaurant that opens from 1pm-5pm food is finished by 3pm. From a restaurant that charges thismuch for their food a better quality and quantity should be expected. I would suggest if you must eat at this restaurant gothere personally so you can see what you are getting before you pay. Read more

I ordered egusi.. they ran out of pounded yam. And I was very confused with the menu. the price you see does not include meat or... pounded yam. Pounded yam is extra and they will reduce the stew to add meat. I feel like should have a combo that includes itall. The customer service was great which is why I rated it with at least three stars I would?ve rated it much less if not fortheir service. The problem is that although it tasted decent it made me sick. I?m not sure if it wasn?t stored at the righttemperature or if something was off. But I would be very cautious ordering from here again. Read more

My jalof rice smells burnt and literally have the black burnt in it too! my fried Turkey was so hard to chew and the egusi soup... is all oil and the sweet plantains wasn't ripe. Money is hard these days and to pay over $50 in food that you can barely eat orenjoy is really frustrating. On uber eat it say extra pounded which makes it sound like there is already pounded yam with theorder. Just be fair in your description. Read more
