The cozy atmosphere made our experience eating at the Gaia pleasant and wonderful. The staff was kind, the menu options are... different and varied, and our choices were perfectly prepared and presented. Everything was superb, and I would enjoy making itour weekly spot to dine out if I lived in the area. The crème brûlée cheesecake was exceedingly decadent and divine. 3 of 5 meals were not to temperature 2 were Luke warm and one was stone cold. Placed order for drinks and it took 25 minutes to... come to table app was hot it took almost an hour to get the food. Very disappointing. I usually give a big tip but gave 190dollars for a 177 dollar bill. We went once before and it was great so we took a good friend back for this second time and itwas terrible. Wouldn't give even a full star but this was the only option. The menu covered a lot of types of cuisine but not much variety... within each. There were fusion options, but if you're looking for authentic Thai or Indian, there's not much. Ordered dim sumto start and it was just three steamed dumplings spiced up (have been to a true dim sum restaurant and this was disappointing). For $12, this was badly overpriced and other items were similarly priced. Was about 4pm and not busy, but the waitress was notattentive. The food, while colourful and spicy hot, was not well-spiced and flavourful. The worst though was that, after eatinga couple bites, we realized that the chicken in the butter chicken was raw to the point of jiggling. Our meal was comped and weleft. Would not return. Read more
