Drove from Brampton to here to taste this "famous chichen". I was not impressed.. Potatoes were the best, chicken and rice were... not tasty, the chicken was very dried and tasteless, good thing was that I got a bottle of their sauce which actually it happensto be very tasty and nice flavour and I used to put it on the dried chicken I got. Ordered some food for a party. Lady who took the call gave us suggestions on how much food and what sides. The food was ready... when we arrived. The prices were very fair and the customer service was friendly and professional. I highly recommend becauseon top of the quality service the food was better than the 10-12 other Portuguese chicken places I?ve tried over the last fewyears. Some of the best Portuguese chicken around. Their hot sauce is the best, so good I'd drink it straight. Potatoes and rice are... outstanding, but the vegetables are out of this world delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant if you like chicken. Handsdown the best. Read more
Very dissapointing portion. A message to the management: If you are comfortable serving half a piece of breast and 1 wing as a... "quarter white" please change the name as it is very misleading....quarter white usually consist of an entire piece of breastand wing. Whilst quarter dark is a leg and thigh, cutting piece of the breast off to add to the quarter dark (because the meatis usually less) just takes away from those buying a quarter white meal. Was very dissapointed to drive over an hour to receivewhat seemed like a kids portion of food. These meal portions are getting smaller. Also, I realized there was no sauce at all onmy meal, although I asked for medium sauce on top of everything, having to buy a separate container of sauce for the chicken for$1.50 is just outright nonsense. According to my children, might as well just go buy a rotisserie chicken for much less. Notimpressed! AVOS will be getting our business moving forward! Read more
