We were feeling Mexican food and saw the good reviews so we gave it a try. We thought the food was good, nothing I'd write home... about but it was enjoyable. We got the beef chimichanga and chicken quesadillas to start. The chicken quesadillas were okay, butI enjoyed the beef chimichanga more, it was seasoned nicely and I'd recommend ordering this. Next we got the beef carne asadatacos, they were flavoured nicely but the beef was overcooked and the tacos felt a little empty. For dessert we ordered thechurros and honestly they were my favourite thing we ate. I'd recommend getting these if you come or leave room for them becausethey were made fresh and the cinnamon on them were delicious even without the dips. On the menu it said $5 but they came out to$8 on my receipt...this isn't going to break the bank, but keep this in mind if you order them. We were expecting slightlybetter quality all around for the price you're paying and due to all the really good reviews. However, we thought the food wasoverall good, it's a stand out among Mexican restaurants in the area and would recommend you trying it out for yourself. Read more
Had a great lunch here. Sunny made sure we had everything we needed and came back to check on us The fish tacos and chicken... tinga were delicious! Do ask for hot sauce if you prefer the extra kick. Nice place hidden from Hwy 7. Very nice atmosphere and in keeping with the Mexican culture, the place is very colourful... decorations with day of dead masks. The food came in small portions, but it tasted great. Chimichanga was freshly made and hadno hint of oil. The fish taco was flaky and had no fishy taste and the chicken taco was not dry. The waiter was nice andfriendly and the place is kept clean and ready for when a party comes in to be seated. Overall the only downside to the wholeexperience, and the reason for 4 stars, was the wait time. One waiter and two cook is just no enough to keep up with the steadystream of orders. Read more
One of the best mexican restaurants in GTA in my opinion, specially the best in/around Vaughan. We were 4 people and we ordered... sriracha lime fries, chimichanga, enchilada, quesadilla, and the crunch wrap. I would not lie but all the items were impeccablyperfect. The subtle taste of lime along with the spice in fries was remarkable. And the main courses though were all vegetariansince I don't eat meat but still they were so yummy, fresh and unique in tase. I am sure meat lovers would enjoy their maincourses with chicken/beef added. I really liked their Chipotle dressing. Last but not least, don't miss to order their salsa onside, it's just too too good and is an efficacy that should not be missed. We found the customer service and cleanliness also tobe extraordinary. Was visiting the area and this landed up being a google search find. Overall the food is good and fresh and this place is worth... a visit. We ordered the chicken Tinga and baja fish tacos. They accommodated us by giving crispy tacos instead of soft althoughI would say maybe so should have stuck to having them soft. The tacos were fresh in taste but could do with some moreflavours. We also ordered the burrito bowl - the taste was good but nothing like a burrito bowl. It tasted more like the ricebowl at subway. It was tasty but no burrito taste. Also it had no beans which was odd for a burrito bowl. The fish and chips wasgood had no fishy taste and was served with 3 dips. I ended the meal with churros they were very doughy from the inside so wouldnot recommend it . The ambience of the place is nice and casual with Mexican music playing in the background. The portions sizescan definitely be improved for the price charged especially the mains. The service is very slow so you might want to take yourtime when visiting this place. I understand that they are a relatively growing place and might be able to support more staffeventually. Read more
