One of the best perks of being a frequent flyer is the premium lounges. Living in Calgary, I am always excited for my lounge... experience. Great food, a drink or two to calm the nervous flyer in me and a comfortable, quiet ambiance is practically aguarantee in YYC. But I HATE flying out of Winnipeg, their premium lounge should be required to drop the premium. I had towander through the lounge to find an employee to check me in, the bar was going to be closed until after my flightdeparts. Carpets are dirty with debris (I was the first flight out on a Sunday morning, furniture is worn out and stained. Thefood is always limited, this time, the sausage looked undercooked and bacon was non-existent. The soup was disgusting and thecrackers were in a larger jar, basically a community bowl of unwrapped crackers. The only lady working the lounge didn?t oncemake it over to our section to remove dishes, etc even tho there were only a handful of tables and everything except tablebussing is self-serve. I can?t imagine how disappointed and underwhelming this would be for someone who paid to access. Here?shoping the Premium Plaza YWG gives itself a good shake and clean up, and start making itself comparable to the lounges inCalgary, Vancouver and Toronto. Staff are great. Food is what you would expect from this type of place. They really need to replace their furniture though.... Almost every chair has nasty stains and the fabric is worn out. Read more

Staff is helpful but... Fack no open access to beverages you have to ask, no juices available and limited food options. The wifi... is good and the place clean, just not worth 50$. Read more

Staff was friendly. Choices of food were a lot smaller comparing to other bigger cities which is understandable. Bathrooms are... outside which is an inconvenience. What's not acceptable is that there is no WIFI signals inside the lounge. Read more

This lounge is open for another 45mins yet we were just turned away upon attempting to access a service for which we qualify. ... This experience ruined my day and made myself and my daughter feel bad, something should be done, perhaps better customerservice training for the staff - this service should make people feel better, not worse.
