Cozy little shop that has a welcoming, warm, bustling atmosphere that seems to be rare in in Winnipeg. The location used to be a... fast food restaurant and so they are geared more towards a lunch crowd rather than a coffee-focused crowd. In terms of food, Iordered the bacon, egg, and cheddar (really more like bacon, egg, and American cheese), which was served on a nice ciabatta bun.For $4.50, that's all you get though, and it you want ketchup or hot sauce it costs extra. It was also really small, on top ofthat. The coffee was nice, but nothing to write home about either. They serve De Luca espresso and coffee so it's good quality.I ordered a small latte, which the servers weren't actually sure how big that was or how much espresso was in it, in terms ofshots/ounces. The milk was also extremely foamy, so it was more like a cappuccino if you find something like that important. Youorder at the counter and the servers bring your food to you, which is a nice touch. The restaurant area itself is very welcomingwith lots of varied types of seating, from booths, to high tables, to armchairs. If you're looking for a nice place to go andget some work done or for a local place for lunch, this place isn't bad. Great food and drinks, really good prices too. Their Hungarian Mushroom soup is amazing. Pretty great lattes too. Their skip... profile is pretty broken though. You can't order delivery every day they are open and it's pretty difficult to order some of thethings they offer. Selections aren't laid out properly. Read more
Good coffee and a very generous large size, which is almost too big. Gluten free bread for sandwiches is available for $1 extra.
