My mom, sister, and I decided to go for dinner together about 10 days after we lost our dad/husband on Thanksgiving. It's been a... difficult time for us trying to move on without him. Well, I just wanted to share that we have never had a more positiveexperience at a restaurant than this visit to Earl's St. Vital. My mom asked if the bar could make a 'Harvey Wallbanger'cocktail and while they didn't know initially, our server Jasmine looked up what's in it and came up with an alternative. My momloved it. Jasmine shared what she used in the drink so that we could ask for it again. From start to finish our experience wastop notch. We have never had a better server than Jasmine and I'm not just saying that. She was attentive, friendly, efficient,genuine, and kind when we shared that we just lost our dad/husband. Our meals were spot on perfect (we got steaks and my mom gotpasta). It's very rare that everything comes together at a restaurant so well but it did at Earl's. Jasmine went above andbeyond and really made our dinner out together a wonderful one especially at a time when we were saddened by our loss. The food is excellent the environment is exceptional. You can really enjoy your time there with your family and friends. It is... one of the top restaurants to visit in Winnipeg. Had to reduce one star as our server was constantly asking for what to orderand kept us on a rush and we asked for a spoon for our coffee too, she left is open on the table without a tissue or cover, nothygienic! Ordered yet another burger outside of burger week. It had nice condiments inside and good amount of bacon, but I think the meat... was a little bit dry and it could use more flavour & juiciness to it. The yam fries were amazing & the Caesar salad was prettygood. Read more
