We had dinner there tonight. Do not recommend!!! #1meal-The burger was soggy and the poutine was cold. Ate two bits off burger... and 2 fries from poutine. Charged full price for that meal. Even after both waitresses notice he disnt eat the meal and askedwhy and nicely told honestly. #2 meal- fish and chips. Fish was soggy and dripping with grease. The fries (frozen bagged fries)were cold. Side of gravy was barely warm. #3 meal mac and cheese with garlic bread got a thumbs up, decent sized serving. Coffeeis gross. Sorry but a waste of money. Ricky's is consistently mediocre, the place anywhere in Canada where you can count on getting a decent breakfast to set your day... off on a good start. This Ricky's, however, used to be Charlie's, the classiest restaurant in Whitehorse, with possibly the bestFrench Cuisine in Canada. I know, I was one of the cooks there from about 1980-1982. We have been out to Ricky?s for dinner for five times. Each time we had excellent service and our meals were absolutely... delicious, we were full and satisfied at the end of the meal, we?ve had burgers, poutine, braised wine beef short ribs, and thePhilly cheesesteak every time it was delicious. tonight we had some starters and it was the twisted nachos and the chickentenders the chicken tenders were beautifully cooked light and crispy my nachos were absolutely delicious we would recommenddining here for dinner any day we come in from Haines Junction and look forward to date night here Read more
