Great place right in the village for a light and tasty bite. They have a happy hour that includes some cocktails and wine.

Fantastic experience! Our server, Jamie, was lovely and thoughtful. The food and drinks were incredible; so much flavour and... curated beautifully. The patio space feels super COVID-safe and toasty warm. 10/10 would recommend Basalt and their wonderfulstaff. We will be coming back! Read more

True apres ski experience in the center of whistler village. Very charming modern place, definitely has a bit of that hipster... romance feel. The cheese fondue and mac n cheese is awesome. They were able to squeeze us in with no reso, and great service @Jamie :) Will be back! So far our fave in the village Read more

After a long day of travel, this was a great place to top it off with. The Basalt Charcuterie board was varied, tasty, and... seemingly bottomless. The Vegetable Soup was probably the tastiest one I?ve ever had. The double Espresso went remarkably wellwith the Sticky Toffee Apple Pudding dessert. They didn?t have bottle of Red Wine we had our eyes on, but they gave us a betterbottle for the same price! Read more

We had a fantastic experience at Basalt last weekend. We had a reservation for 5pm to take advantage of happy hour and it did... not disappoint! We had the Aperitivo for 2 and both the charcuterie board and drinks were excellent! They also served probablythe best espresso martini I've ever had in my life and were happy to make it even though it's not on the menu. The staff wereawesome and we had an especially great interaction with who I assume to be the Manager or Front of House.....unfortunately wedidn't catch her name but she really looked after us. We got a great seat on the patio and were really impressed at the COVIDsafety measures they had in place. Highly recommend! Read more
