Shout out to the crew of Wednesday night, Aug. 31, 2022, around 9 pm. I think you made the best fries I?ve ever had and I get... around?.fries-wise. I don?t think it is possible to replicate this every night and I?ve been to Five Guys downtown, in theStates and at this location before and I?ve never wondered if I had the best fries of my life before. I?m totally sober too. Ordering was so smooth and friendly too, as was the handoff picking up the order. The thing about the fries is that they were soamazingly light and crispy with such a soft inside that they felt like after the crisp bite, they kind of disappeared or meltedaway almost. Like some magical fairy fries. Salt is the pixie dust. Also, surprising, they stayed crispy like that for at least10 minutes. But don?t blame me if you go and you don?t get magical fries. The best burger place in Canada! Ingredients seems simple but the burger tastes great. I love the portion of large fries. They... are hand-cut fries and it can be too salty for some people but it was okay for me :) And free peanuts are lovely...! They gowell with burger and fries. Five guys solves that issue by cooking to order, a process that takes seven or eight minutes. Because their burgers and hot dogsare not prepared before a customer orders, you can add anything from a long list of toppings and condiments. Suit yourself.That's a key. My burger had two thin meat patties lightly crusted on the exterior but still juicy. One "small" order of frieswas hot, crisp and well seasoned. My only complaint was the serving size. It went beyond generous to excessive. Of course, wewouldn't want to eat in a restaurant that is not well maintained and staffed by people who seem happy to be there. The fries are great! Pro tip: don't bother taking the fries out of thebag; rather, take the burger(s) out, then tear the bag open and enjoy the fries in the bag.
